Came back from travel this week (5/23) and found the the downstairs unit hadn't been running for some time (temp well above setpoint on t-stat). Inspected the unit and found the blower cabinet door was sitting in place but not latched. Observed electrical tape had been used on the interlock switch so the unit ran following the inspection visit. All stopped when the tape let go. I put the cabinet door in place and latched it – system op resumed. The initial installation was very good as have subsequent maintenance checks over the years.
