A tech came out before the weekend (I don't know his name as I was not here at the time) and my unit is non-repairable so Wade came out to go over my options today. “This follow-up maintenance from yesterday. Richard installed a new thermostat – very thorough in checking that everything was working as intended.”

We went to buy a window unit to get us thru until they could get here. Jake called before we got home and said he was on his way. He was here repaired the unit and gone by noon. “Yesterday Richard Sampson came to perform our first maintenance on our new Trane unit. We did not think our thermostat was working properly. He discovered two issues while he was here. One was that the 2nd stage hose was not connected, and two that the thermostat was not sealed properly. In spite of fixing these two issues, he determined the thermostat still needed to be replaced.
Richard was very thoroughly and knowledgeable with his diagnostics. I highly recommend him and prefer to have him come to our home to perform all future maintenance.”

“Had the routine inspection service for my 2 AC units performed in late April. Came back from travel this week (5/23) and found the the downstairs unit hadn't been running for some time (temp well above setpoint on t-stat). Inspected the unit and found the blower cabinet door was sitting in place but not latched. Observed electrical tape had been used on the interlock switch so the unit ran following the inspection visit. All stopped when the tape let go. I put the cabinet door in place and latched it – system op resumed. The initial installation was very good as have subsequent maintenance checks over the years. This was not the expected quality service I paid for…”
